Branding Aftermath

So on the previous blog; I talked about my post branding experience, but now its time for the good stuff, my post branding experience. So we enter performance day, which was September 27th, 2010. Like I said before, this is my ever branding performance. I was still indecisive of how this was all going to be put together. Since we were going first, we guys got to school early to set up. Everything was looking good at first, but all went wrong. Two big things had to go wrong. One was that the material that Jordon brought had gone missing. No one knew where it went, so Jordon had to call up his mom and they quickly went to the store and bought all new things. The second thing that had to go wrong was, one of our AVI video presentations had crashed. It didn’t want to open, and we were very dependent on our media presentations. So in that morning, we worked twice as hard in completing our work, and getting things set up. As of 9:45 am, we had begun our presentation. Everyone had looked sharp in our group. All of us were matching in what we wore. Jordon and Dillon were our Mc’s of the night, Sheldon was our Dj, Idress, and Dane were our main waiters, Nathaniel was our all in one entertainer, and I was the media technician. Our performance went well. Everyone enjoyed it. We added a lot of pressure on the girls. We guys thought we had taken it, and now it was the girls turn. The girls started off with a bang. We were all shocked in what they brought to the table. I didn’t suspect such things. Their media work was outstanding. I started to realize that we spoke too soon.

Now came the day after it was all done. All of us in the class were very anxious for the results. We guys thought we had taken it, and the girls thought they had taken it. Ms. Thomas had added so much pressure; she didn’t want to tell us right away. We were all sweating in our seats, hearing all the marks we had got. Now it was time to reveal the winner. This years Acting Academy Name will be….. Soul Visionary Productions. The girls screamed in joy. They had beaten the guys for the first time. The guys couldn’t say anything but to applaud to their success. Congratulations girls.
